The decoration of this guest bedroom included a carved fiberglass dome. Working fro the wall coverings, draperies and carpet, an Old World specialty was developed. A gold base with sage, rose and leaf are covered with a  peeling plaster and antiqued with an oak wax. Looking up from the bed, the richness of the finish makes all the difference in the total room design.
